      Forthcoming SF, Fantasy, & Gaming Cons

      AggieCon XXIX is being held in College Station this weekend March
      26-29. If you missed it, look for two cons coming up in May - -
      RocKon 22 (Little Rock, AR) May 1-3 and Project A-kon
      (Dallas/Metroplex area) May 29-31. Then, we have three cons coming up
      the SAME WEEKEND in June!! I Think Therefore I Con (Houston, TX),
      Conestoga '98 (Tulsa, OK), and San Con 5 (Pasadena, TX) all June

      Forthcoming SF&Fantasy Books

      According to Locus Magazine's quarterly Forthcoming Books list, Robert
      Jordan's next Wheel of Time book (#8) will be Path of Daggers, due in
      Oct. 1998. Timothy Zahn (Star Wars) will be back with Visions of the
      Future (his sequel to the Spectre of the Past) in Nov. 1998. (These
      two Zahn books comprise the Hand of Thrawn adventure.) Lois McMaster
      Bujold will return with her newest Miles Vorkosigan book (called
      Komarr) in June 1998. Anne McCaffrey's Catteni trilogy will be
      completed with Freedom's Challenge in May 1998. For more listings

      Houston-area and Texas Science Fiction Organizations

      Newly added to our list are the SCA and Amtgard. If you have any

      Science Fiction on TV

      TNT will be broadcasting the 100th episode of Babylon 5 on April 8,
      1998 at its NEW
      time (7 PM CDT). And "they" said it would never last five seasons!!
