Norris Conference Centers
304 Houston Street

Fort Worth, TX area
Texicon supports all three sections of gaming: Miniatures, Role-Playing, and Board gaming. Each year Texicon will focus on a specific section.
We have chosen to "kick off" our con with Miniature Gaming. Moreover, we believe that having a place where multiple games occur will allow players to try games that they might not normally play, while allowing our players to also play those games they love. Our Game Masters and Referees are excited at the prospect of teaching people to play new games.
Texicon also hosts seminars that focus on every aspect of gaming. In these seminars, experts will speak about various aspects of games and gaming. Some speakers will be seasoned gamers, others will be industry specialists.
We hope you will be brave enough to try a new game.

The theme for this [International Conference] is "The Year of the Phoenix", as 2012 is supposed to be the year the world comes to an end. From the ashes, the phoenix will arise, reborn. As Gene Roddenberry was often referred to as the Great Bird of the Galaxy (which was also referred to in the Star Trek: New Frontier books by Peter David) and the Phoenix was the name of Zefram Cochrane's ship in Star Trek: First Contact, we felt it would be a fitting theme for this 2013's International Conference.

Our convention caters to many different gaming tastes and styles. Unlike other conventions that support multiple genres, we don't have one group trying to be all things to all people. The historical miniatures and board gaming events are hosted by Lone Star Historical Miniatures. Our RPGA events are hosted by the Austin RPGA.
To participate in the RPGA games, you must first register for the convention and pay the registration fee and also register for the RPGA events. This is two separate registrations. You must do both.
We're looking for all sorts: RPGs, Board Games, Card Games, and Miniatures.
Millennium has a particular need for classical historical periods (ACW, Napoleonics, Ancients, etc). Last year, there was more demand for these types than we could meet, and the slots filled up quickly.
