Suns - Vast nuclear furnaces of gas collected and held together by
gravity producing heat and light. Our star is called the Sun or Sol. It is part of a galaxy of stars called the Milky Way Galaxy. Although
the stars seem to fixed within a human lifetime, Stars
in the region of the Sun move with respect to each other at 10's of kilometers
per second. An interloper from the galaxy's halo may move at more than
100 kilometers/second.
