How to Remember When Margaret's Birthday Is

Rule of 3

Start with Clif's Birthday: 6/17/49

  • Add "3" to month. Thus, 6 plus 3 = 9
  • and subtract "3" from day. Thus 17 minus 3 = 14

    This results in 9/14/51 which happens to be September 14, Margaret's Birthday!!

    Second difficult to recall item:
    Our wedding anniversary will be Saturday,

    Third difficult to recall item:
    Our first date (and thus our first date anniversary) was Friday,

    at the McDonald's restaurant near Future Visions Books.

    The hamburgers were OK but the conversation went on for hours & hours!
