Info-Alert Registration

In order to register to receive the Info Alert we need your email address. Additionally, we ask for a name and approximate location. Primarily, we use the combined location information to tell us what sort of information (local vs. global) we should add. If you are sufficiently paranoid to want to give us the wrong name, we certainly won't know the difference (but frankly we don't know why you would). We won't refuse to send you notices for leaving out any information except email address (because without that we don't know where to email you).

Within a week you should receive a confirmation email. You MUST respond to this email to be placed on the list to receive the Info-Alert. This protects you from someone else entering you on the list. Any kind of reply is OK.
